The Aimee coat comes in a large-scale check — a deep plum ground crossed with pale blue and soft white. It is cut long and easy, with a spread collar, a button front and a self-tie belt, so it can be worn open over knitwear or pulled in for a neater line. Side pockets keep it useful, and the brushed polyester blend has enough weight to carry through autumn and into the colder months. Wear it loose with jeans and a roll neck, or belted over tailored trousers and boots when you want the shape to do the talking.
